For example if you work on your laptop, working for UK clients as normal, with payment going into a UK bank account as normal, even if it's just for say 3 or 4 months. Anyone done this or similar? Perhaps up to a period and if you're coming back it's not an issue?

Hi Guy,
I live in Slovakia, but freelance for UK companies. I have a registered
company in the UK and only pay corporation tax etc. I do not pay UK
income tax or NI as I do not spend more than 2 months in the UK. If you
spend more than 2 months in the year, in the UK then you are classed as
a resident and have to pay tax.
