Nah it still failed today even after updating the NIC driver. The server
runs document scanning software and only seems to crash out after a few
documents have been scanned. Could the application be crashing the ethernet
card some how? It all worked fine before the new SCSi drive was fitted.

Any ideas anyone?

Hmmm I now suspect it is the NIC driver. I've installed a different driver
now (the server OS was installed by the shop that fitted the new SCSI
drive). Its now using a generic PIC 10/100Mb Fast Ethernet Adapter driver
and its not failed yet. Fingers crossed eh?
