Hi Gary,

Yes, I should have mentioned in my initial post that I want to create
a workbook with multiple worksheets, and that the files should be
compatible with version 2003. I have tried this: http://www.carlosag.net/Tools/ExcelXmlWriter/Default.aspx
which produces an Excel XML workbook, but cannot get it to work on
Mac or even the PC version of Excel 2003 for which it promises
compatibility.
