Its the sellers responsibility to attribute OEM, thus they =
shouldn=E2=80=99t sell it without the associated piece of hardware. =
However if you purchase the OEM software without the associated =
hardware, then this is the responsibility of the seller, not the buyer, =
and thus you would not be doing anything illegal.
Before anyone gets on their high-horse about its still illegal to buy, =
it isn=E2=80=99t. By way of example i point you to the fact that it is =
illegal for anyone to sell to, or knowingly purchase cigs for anyone =
under the age of 16. It is NOT however illegal for anyone under 16 to =
purchase cigarettes! Similar emphasis lies on many laws (ie its only =
illegal for one side of the transaction).

Im not a system builder but I dont intend to sell the systems I use=20
anyway. I only use them for myself.
I wouldnt want the company I do business with to get into trouble.
