the example I posted was installed pretty simply and the developers do offer
customisation at reasonably rates, we didn't invest too much in this project
and even if we had, I have no doubt it would 'not' have taken off. There's
too much out there now.
I believe the same script is being used for the Arsenal site. yep just
checked http://www.phpprobid.com/
I have no affilaition with these guys.

Andrew - I agree that for developing an auction system from scratch, £4k is
way too low. But it the same post you point out pre-built solutions, which
should allow Chris to deliver for that budget?
Or did you find that a massive amount of customisation / configuration was
required?
