My facts were right, because i quite clearly stated 'i had read recently'.
In fact it was only 2 days ago in the latest edition of '.Net' magazine,
which whilst not exactly high-brow, it is read by lots of people, and is
very informative.

I didn't, and to be honest i think it was completely unnecessary. Is this
forum not for people to discuss issues related to the industry. If this is
the case i think its perfectly acceptable to say that i recently read some
fact, and for people to give feedback on that fact / fiction.
