Agree with other suggestions to use conditional comments, e.g. , etc.
Start with a style sheet that works in FF then work your way down the IE
versions.
Tried your site in IE8 beta, which is fully standards compliant, minus a few
bugs, and it's totally unreadable.
You can add a meta line:
to force IE8 to render in IE7 mode.
