Re: FN-FORUM: Sitecheck - Updating my website - using CSS

John,
Buy yourself a good book on CSS and you'll find out - the benefits/reasons
for using CSS could fill many a page.
I've tried your site on Internet Explorer 8 (beta 1) which is fully CSS
compliant and your site looks broken and unreadable. So there is a problem
with your CSS. No shame in that - when I tried most of my sites (which
looked fine in FF and IE7/6/5) had problems too on IE8. But it drew out my
coding errors which can be corrected.
The cold commercial reality is that most people use Windows and IE6 or 7 so
you better make sure it works OK for them.
Nigel.

- why use CSS at all, as it seems to be a complete pain in
the rear - at least with tables I know it is going to display correctly,
