Only 1gb on an Intel iMac but more is on it's way.
(rant)why do apple insist on putting 2 x 1/2gb ram chips in so that when
you want to add more you have to buy more than you need.
Example, I want to up my RAM to 2gb (it already has 1gb) but I have to
buy 2 x 1gb instead of just 1 x 1gb and throw the 2 x 1/2gb chips in the
drawer never to see the light of day again.
(rant over)
