Re: FN-FORUM: Sitecheck - Updating my website - using CSS

What a ridiculous statement, you cannot compare the two.
A photographer builds a site to impress potential clients (not spectators,
like your example) , to a top level advertising photographer, they want to
impress the leading agencies (and to the best of my knowledge they do not
employ visually impaired people), failure to impress means failure to get
the job, so do you honestly think that they are prepared to compromise their
cutting edge vision to accommodate someone elses ideas of accessibility,
perhaps the photographs should be replaced with text descriptions ?
You give me a list of photographers sites built in accessible standards
compliant blah blah blah, they wont even come near to the impact of a really
great flash presentation.
Look - I can see where this is going, you all have some fair points, but I
am simply floating (geddit - css ...) the idea that to a small percentage of
website owners, the visual content and presentation is going to take
precident(sp) over accessibility issues.
Good night all - and thank you for the advice - I will use it
