I've used Mailman. I'm not a massive fan, and you'd be needing access to
a UNIX mail server to use it.
I had experience with the Python code being a bit dodgy, and on occasions
loosing emails without error messages even. you had to re-create the list
to get it to work again. I think they did sort that bug out though.
Also it's mailing list software, not a mass-mail campaign manager.
Phplist is. I've not used it, but it looks like a capable if basic
application.
