Likewise - Mint in fact (Ubuntu derivative) beautiful bit of software
that is imho nicer to use than both OSX and Win (but with the latter,
what isn't!).
On the CPU thing.....
CPU != that flashing thing under your desk (I assume the comment was
tongue in cheek?). Just in case, CPU == Central Processing Unit
(Processor to you and me, mine's an Intel, so the pretty logo tells me).
I do a lot of office relocation work as a sideline, and it /really/ irks
me when Operations guys refer to PC's a CPUs.
The term PC or "Personal Computer" has been the correct term for the
flashy box since the 60's (unless of course you have a mainframe sitting
under your desk, or indeed an oversized CPU whirring away doing very
little on its own).
I really need to get out more......
