First of all thanks to everyone who replied, all the advice has been
really helpful!

I'll look into all the different options over the next couple of days
and hopefully, come summer, i'll have the money to put my plan into action.

Just a quick note, its actually a software company i'm hoping to setup
(the money is mostly for licensing of third party tools etc.) and not
web development, although all your comments were relevant and helpful
all the same Mike.
