Let's not forget that we can't be sure that it's their fault. Most
autoresponder software will ignore mail that obviously comes from a
mailing list.
This mailing list doesn't use any of the standard methods to identify
itself as a mailing list, so the autoresponder has no way of knowing to
ignore mail from this list.
The list owners have been informed of this many times, but they choose
to ignore the problem.
So it might not be the people using the autoresponders who are being the
biggest idiots here.
