I was never a fan of the previous systems but I have recently completed
an integration with WPP. Its alot better and can be done on the backend
making it less visible to visitors/snoopers. I would be happy to use it
again.
In terms of "rouge" transactions - there are a multitude of reasons why
this can happen - more than likely it is user error but you should test
yr code.
I would ask your customers to confirm the transaction charges (the ones
you mentioned) - to see if they are indeed from your site. If you have
any doubt contact PayPal directly.

are you using website payments pro?
Hey guys
We are currently using paypal as a payment gateway but its not giving us
the results we want. We have a lot of people complaining about strange
transaction charges at their end and also a lot of transactions are not
going through.
Anyone experienced similar problems?
And anyone have a better option to paypal?
Don't really want to get into setup costs but a monthly fee with low or
no transaction charges are doable.
