FN-FORUM: osCommerce install error

Hello,

I'm trying to install osCommerce but it keeps coming up with a 500 error
message and when I check the error logs it says:

"[Wed May 14 10:28:00 2008] [notice] mod_fcgid: call
/home/american/public_html/catalog/install/index.php with wrapper
/usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/php5"

Has anyone come across this before that could throw some light on what I
need to do to get it to work?
