Rollback has fixed the problem. Symptoms were:
Network drives on my MAC would not connect. Neither could I remap them
Shared printers were not recognised by remote computers
Applications wouldn't start from shortcuts, only from dbl clicking the
actual .exe
Browsers would hang after a few minutes use
Couldn't shut down
Any printing that I managed to get going, would crash part way through.
I know that in the SP3 release there was something to do with network
enhancements to make it more like Vista. E.g. Ensuring remote computers were
up to scratch before connecting. Dunno if this had anything to do with it.
